When will I get my braces off??

Every patient is different.  There are many factors that determine when you get your braces offSome of these factors include: keeping scheduled appointments, having good oral hygiene, avoiding loose brackets, wearing rubber bands.  Often, it appears that your teeth are straight and you should be finished with treatment.  However, we also want your bite to fit properly.

Missing scheduled appointments may delay treatment since we cannot progress your tooth movement. Good oral hygiene helps your teeth move faster with less discomfort.  Broken brackets extend treatment time since braces that aren't attached don't work!  Rubber band wear is prescribed by the doctor to correct the bite, and requires 100% cooperation.  If there is lack of compliance, it will take longer to reach the ideal result.

We want you to get your braces off on time.  Along with your cooperation, we will do everything in our power to make that happen!
